The First 15 Minutes: Turn-by-Turn Roadmap

The Three Golden Rules of Swarm Survival
1. The Power of Focused Leveling
The single most common mistake made by beginners is drafting a new weapon on every level-up. Having six Level 1 weapons leaves you with weak, low-firepower attacks that cannot pierce enemy swarms. Conversely, one Level 8 weapon (such as the Boltgun Evolution) unlocks explosive area fragmentation that vaporizes entire waves.
2. Clockwise Gem Harvesting
Enemy gems sit where the enemy died. If you run back and forth in straight lines, you will inevitably get boxed in by oncoming hordes. Instead, establish a steady clockwise or counter-clockwise oval path. As enemies close in from the front, your forward weapons clear a path while your rear magnet pulls in gems left behind.
3. Chest Timing Discipline
Golden chests dropped by bosses are the only way to evolve weapons. If you defeat an elite boss while your weapon is at Level 7, do not touch the chest yet. Kite nearby minions until you gain enough gems to hit Level 8, then walk over the chest to trigger an instant evolution.
